DIRECTOR Hanseong Kim
Thank you for visiting Institute of Advanced Organig Materials’s homepage.
Institute of Advanced Organic Materials aims to advance knowledge and technology in various fields related to organic materials through innovative research and development.
Accordingly, we strive to find sustainable material and energy solutions through science and technology, and conduct research to improve environmental issues and energy efficiency.
The field of advanced organic materials is an important technology that is indispensable for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Since its establishment in December 2018, our institute is the only research center in the field, and we have been conducting research in the field with various researchers and have produced various research results and achievements.
From textile materials (functional, advanced, and smart textiles) to organic nanomaterials (nanotextiles, nanostructures, and nanoelectronic devices), organic photonic materials (organic light-emitting materials, electrochromic materials, and optoelectronic materials), organic electronic materials (conductive organic materials, organic semiconductors, and flexible electronic materials), organic energy materials (organic solar cells, secondary batteries, and energy harvesting), and organic biomaterials (nanobiotics, biosensors, and microcapsules), research in the field of organic new materials is growing day by day.
Based on the passion and expertise of our members, our researchers will continue to expand the range of applications of advanced organic materials, commercialize new materials, and foster human resources.
Thank you.
